One-Day Training

The Mitra Network provides pre-deployment briefings on civilian non-government activities ongoing in a particular area of operations, and training on engaging with civilian counterparts in pursuit of mission success. Mitra training focuses on the unique perspective of NGO professionals, incorporating domain knowledge about political and economic development processes with an emphasis on achieving long-term impact. They can be customized with up-to-the-minute information about particular environments, or to emphasize different sectors of the international and local civilian terrain.

One-day courses start at $12,500 for content prepared by three network experts, including two in-person trainers.


Two-Day Training

They can be customized with up-to-the-minute information about particular environments, or to emphasize different sectors of the international and local civilian terrain.

The two-day training course extends the content of the one-day course, to dive deeper into the history of humanitarian/ development activities in the relevant area of operations. Based on this deeper history, participants will be helped to think through the potential long-term impacts of different operational approaches to engaging civilian actors, preparing them to respond flexibly to developments during deployment.
